Sentinels are the alien species that live on the planet. They are very intellegent, well-spoken people. They use advanced technology and weapons, which they use to fight invading races. The Sentinels capture Frank, and attempt to coerce him into helping their race defend the land from invaders. Sentinels speak very fluently, softly and rarely raise their voice.
