Danny is a trusting, idealist romantic, and that gets him into trouble. He just wants a girlfriend to dote on forever and follow wherever, is that so wrong? But stupid life is more complicated than that, it seems, and it keeps throwing curveballs at poor Danny.
Danny’s best friends with Joe, forever, and now they room together in college. His high school girlfriend, Dorothy, dumped him on the first day, and now he’s in a strange sort of weird love triangle with Amber and Amazi-Girl. Yikes.
(Desperately.) "That's ridiculous! I didn't come here just because of you! Joe's also here!"
"Thanks a lot, you guys! Do you two have it out for me? You're my ex-girlfriend! What are you doing in my room freaking out potential new girlfriends? And you! With all that 'clone' stuff! You are the worst wingman ever."
"Look, I don't know who put you up to this, or if this is some freshman hazing thing, but I'm not buying it. Dorothy may have broken up with me, but I trust her--if she says she can't have a boyfriend because she's going to be moving to another school, then... Well, then she wouldn't do that, okay?" (Losing all confidence as Dorothy approaches.) "She wouldn't do that... to me..."
