Vigil is in his early 50s and is a surprisingly lean, sturdy man with notable endurance, a scruffy voice, and a faint American-Southern accent. He has slicked-back light-gray hair, unkempt stubble, and loves to sport classic aviators and a long brown trench coat, hiding a dark green dress shirt underneath. Considering them his essentials, Vigil is also fond of keeping both shovels and crowbars close by, attributed to his life of crime and poverty growing up back in the cities.

He's a jaded man with a rough exterior and damaged past but will have moments in the slow-burning series where he'll open up, and act as a father figure to the other main characters, Benjamin and Clair. Just like the rest of the cast, he's bound to step out of his comfort zone from being stern and authoritative, kind and considerate, to aggressive and manipulating.
