DESCRIPTION:

I'm seeking for an experience Artist who can illustrate a backgrounds for the videos in my series. Backgrounds that I look for are a comic book style, evidently the art within the Spiderverse scenes are creative and involve a variety of styles. I want an artist who isn't afraid to step out of their comfort zone and experiment with the ideas I give them to illustrate appealing backgrounds.

TERMS:

- Remember this is a longterm project, I'll reach to you when I need a background to be illustrated.

- I need a lot of communication from you because as a artist myself, we like to incorporate our own ideas and make changes when creating an artwork. You don't have to ASK me to change something but I do want to hear your suggestions and your ideas to make the backgrounds more appealing to the audience.

- You'll be paid no matter what for any final version of an artwork. It doesn't matter if I change my mind and not use it, you'll stil be paid for taking the effort to illustrate a piece.

- To apply, I require you to submit a ORGANISED portfolio (Google Drive or Google Document) of your previous artworks that you've created. As well I require you to submit a resume that involves previous projects you were in.

- As the name of the role is "Background Artist", I hate to see people who apply that dump their portfolio that doesn't comply to the title. - I will be paying close attention to the backgrounds, not the drawn characters.

- Lastly, Digital art isn't a required medium just at least send me the clear version of the artwork you've made. This means you can submit any type of medium, mixed media, abstract, oil painting, oil pastels, watercolour, acrylic, etc. I encourage you to be experimental and contemporary.
