Aerin is probably one of the most calm and neutral characters of the series, only aggressive when provoked or forced into a fight. He is an Avae, or half bird. 

  • "Helena, what's the matter?" 

  • "Helena, I know these strangers may seem odd, but they appear to be harmless for now. If anything goes wrong, me, Daniel, and everyone else will be here when it happens."
