Home Life

Alcina was born in The Capital. Her mother, Wendy Barrie, died during the Four Courts War, six years after Alcina was born.

One of Wendy’s friends, Cassandra Hansel, took Alcina in after her mother’s death. It wasn’t until Alcina turned ten that she found her witch's mark. In the same year she found her witch’s mark, she and Cassandra had to flee to StonesBurrow in a rush. Unbeknownst to Alcina, Cassandra had an unruly past back at The Capital.

School Life

Alcina attends Selika Academy currently. She’s a top student when focused, but is not as deep into the stones as some of her other classmates. 

Childhood

Alcina lived in The Capital until she was six years old. At the time, The Capital was prejudiced against creatures that are not human. When Cassandra took her in, Alcina had to be glamoured to show the appearance of being a human girl when her witch’s mark came in. However, they both had to flee to StonesBurrow – a province constructed by The Capital to make creatures and humans coexist – after Cassandra was found out for her crime.
