At first look, most people would assume Ymir was a bully or simply trying to act tough as a way to make up for her childhood. Ymir was abandoned by her mother, her father having walked out before she was born, thus landing her in the care of a rather dismissive aunt. Feeling neglected, she slacked off in school and constantly got in trouble, staying back a year or two, debating dropping out entirely before meeting Historia. She wants to graduate and be a writer, believe it or not, but also plans on marrying Historia the moment they’re handed their diplomas.
