A sage from the village Caer Pelyn. He's Ewan's solemn, but kind, teacher.
Saleh is a very calm, kind, and peaceful character. He is very dedicated to his cause, to protect the Great Dragon, which is his life's mission. He is very wise and skilled in magic, qualified as Ewan's teacher. Sometimes he can be stern or scolding; Ewan had originally been intimidated by him as a teacher. He practices some sort of traditional religion or meditation called "Valega", which seems to involve great harmony and contemplation, even meditating on the battlefield. He is sage and at peace, a mentor that many look up to.
*Responding to Innes's statement that the mountains were not fit for human habitation* “Material wealth brings strife. We’ve no need of these things. In this, we are of one mind with the Great Dragon.”
*After Seth asks if Monsters normally reside in the area* “No… Those things come from Darkling Woods. It’s been a long time since they’ve wandered this far afield. It’s as the elder says… Evil omens take many shapes.”
