Rayne (Age 25) is pretty neutral and easy going, but is reserved as far as expressing emotions go. She typically doesnt talk much and her expressions, both in voice and in facial expressions are very minute. She doesnt convey much emotion unless pulling up more painful memories. To put things into perspective, she went on 3 tours in the middle east, working with the same platoon all three tours, and on the 3rd tour she lost all of her platoon and became a prisoner of war for 9 months, where she lost both of her legs from the knee down. She has PTSD as well as Survivor's Guilt.
I would describe Rayne's voice as low, battle worn, but not raspy, still has a flick of femininity, but deeper than usual.

(Neutral, not really sure what to say, awkward and on the spot) Tell them a little about myself?.... Ah, well... Im from Oz. From Darwin, up in the Northern Territory. My family owns a property up there. Uhh....I have a twin, his names Saint. Yea, he's goin' to school for Music Production I think it is. Uhh....I ended up in the states, goin to school, but I got caught up in the military instead, went on 3 tours...(pause, then suddenly more closed off and stiff)....Yea, a lot happened there....I mean, the first two tours were fine, but the third....(another long pause, remember that these are really sensitive, painful memories she is trying to recall, but still tries to maintain composition)...Uhm...I uh...Was a lieutenant.....of a platoon.....it was a routine mission, just a uh...to just obtain a target.....(long pause again, then more irritable, jaw tight)....Then there was a goat, i guess-- (Sudden anger) a fucking goat- the fucking goat was rigged, and I didnt warn them, i didnt announce it, and the fucking goat blew the fuck up and-- (long silence, anger leaving her, now defeated, very tired and dry) Yea, you know what i dont think I can do this...
I'm actually Australian, and I've never seen a casting call for an Australian character, especially one a similar age to me! SO despite my... average... mic quality, I decided to audition. Anyways, I just wanted to say that if you'd like, I can redo my audition and put the accent on a bit thicker, I try to make it subtle since I actually hate how my accent sounds! Just let me know.
