prismxtics for Smile Third Year
If you're auditioning for third year smile, you should have a sweet and somewhat childish high-pitched voice! Take Nico and Mari as an example, but it is not required that you sound like them because we will be using original characters!
-Sing a solo from a smile girl
-Sing a song from BiBi
-Sing one more song of your choice(it does not have to be from Love Live! nor does it have to be in Japanese, just choose any song that brings out the best of your voice!)
-You may add as many more songs as you would like but only three are required
-You should sing at least one minute of each song

Hi there! Y'all can call me Tristan! I You can find me on zipadees.tumblr.com and on dA under the same username. I am a huge Hananyo (intentionally misspelled) and Eli fan, and Hanamaru and Ruby are slowly inching their way into my heart. I am usually placed as a soprano in choir and musical theater, but I tend to have a stronger voice in the alto range! I would absolutely love to hear feedback: as this is one of my first times actually attempting to sing in Japanese correctly, I would like to know how my pronunciation is, and if my microphone quality will suffice for this project. Aside from singing, although I certainly don't consider myself a professional artist, I can do reference art for anyone in the group if necessary, and I'm well versed in Photoshop, so if you need any image manips, I'm your man! [Feedback] Your voice is very nice sounding and pleasant to listen to, and for the most part this audition was very very good! There's really only one thing I can complain about with this, and that's your high notes. When you sing your high notes, you switch from your chest voice to your head voice, so I can propose two fixes for this. You could either try just singing the whole song in your head voice (which I think would be really pretty and fitting of the role >.<), or you can learn to disguise the switch more. That's honestly the only thing I can find that's wrong with your singing, your pronunciation was super good and near perfect for this being your first time singing in Japanese and I'm impressed! Also I'd love it if you could join our discord chat and get to know everyone~ Anyways, thank for auditioning, great work!
