Saga - One Shot Scene CLOSED
DavewiththeDeepVoice for Marko
Footsoldier. Goatman. Cheese. Yum. Something.
Marko encouraged Alana to continue reading after she got distracted by his sweaty physique. Alana read her favorite passage in the book and Marko realized the book is not a romance novel, but instead about them and the ongoing war.
Alana was grateful to finally have someone to confide in about her feelings for the book, but Marko revealed he was being transferred to Blacksite the next day. Marko offered his rings so Alana could spread Heist's words, but instead, Alana shot Marko's chains and they ran away.
But remember what that mermaid told Contessa in the diner scene? What if the writer is suggesting that war will never end, that it's a self-perpetuating cycle of pointless brutality that can only be "stopped" with more war?
This isn't a joke! I'm an enemy combatant!
