If you're auditioning for second year smile, you should have an energetic and happy voice! Take Chika and Honoka as an example, but it is not required that you sound like them because we will be using original characters!

  • -Sing a solo from a smile girl

    -Sing a song from Primtemps

-Sing one more song of your choice (it does not have to be from Love Live! nor does it have to be in Japanese, just choose any song that brings out the best of your voice!)

-You may add as many more songs as you would like but only three are required

-You should sing at least one minute of each song

  • Introduce yourself in the comments! (Or vocally if you prefer) Include:

-Name (or a name that you would like to go by)

    -Age

-Any social media accounts (that you feel comfortable sharing)

    -Favorite Love Live Idol

    -Voice type/Range

-Let me know whether or not you would like to hear feedback

-Other skills that could contribute to the project

-Anything else you'd like to share!

Hello! My name is Marie and I'm 17. My tumblr is meme-tendo.tumblr.com. Best girls are Kotori, Hana, You, Nozomi, and Maki. I would say I'm a mezzo-sop but I can and have sung everything from Soprano 1 to Alto 2. I would LOVE feedback! My choir (which is singing at Carnegie Hall next week) often sings in other languages but this is my first time singing in Japanese. I know the pronunciations and pitch are off at times but these were the best recordings I got. I'm willing to audition for another role if you feel it is more fitting. I'm great and web design and management so if we want our own site then I'm your gal! My LL Blog is hana-maru-zura.tumblr.com

Oh, and I currently sing in choir as an Alto. The repertoire this year doesn't call for any Alto split but the songs cover a full Alto range. This year during my hearing the director told me to pick what part I wanted to sing because my range covered it all, told him to surprise me. We're always down in altos so here I am!

[Feedback] ok. your voice. is so perfect for a second year smile! it's very energetic and smooth, and you sound really good. For this being your first time singing in Japanese, I'm super impressed by your pronunciation skills! Other than a few errors in Unbalanced Love, your pronunciation was almost perfect! I'm glad you chose Viva la Vida, it really does bring out the best of your voice! It shows that you can comfortably sing in low and high ranges, which is also perfect for the smile second year. I honestly have no complaints about this audition other than just practice your pronunciation a little more (but the errors are understandable if this is your first time singing in Japanese), so thank you for auditioning and keep up the good singing!
