The Faithless is made to represent the countless many who tried and failed before the main character did. He is a young adult male, used and discarded as a failed science experiment. He still tries, but has lost hope. Still, his youth provides a lively vigor that allows him the energy to carry on. He is doubtful of the protagonist, rude towards them, and at times, even overtly hostile. He sees their attempts at succeeding where he failed as futile. Eventually, as the story progresses, he will take a shine to the main character's talents, where he initially felt jealousy.
The Faithless is motivated by his abuse and his yearning to see the Grimlord punished for what he did to him. Less is he that cares about justice as he does vengeance. He is angry and bitter, jealous of the main character, and speaks with frustration and pessimism in his tone. There is no distinct accent or specific tonal sound in mind for this character.
