If you're auditioning for first year smile, you should have an energetic, medium pitch, and happy voice! Take Hanamaru and Rin as an example, but it is not required that you sound like them because we will be using original characters!
-Sing a solo from a smile girl
-Sing a song from lilywhite
-Sing one more song of your choice (it does not have to be from Love Live! nor does it have to be in Japanese, just choose any song that brings out the best of your voice!)
-You may add as many more songs as you would like but only three are required
-You should sing at least one minute of each song

Hello! My name is Daelynn, and I am 14 years old. My favorite Love Live! girls (from μ's) are Umi, Rin and Eli! From Aqours, I really like Riko and Hanamaru, but I don't have actual favorites picked out just yet. My vocal range is usually an alto, and I've been told I can harmonize very well. I'm not sure if it will help this project, but I have a lot of experience with both acting and performing. I also really like to write, so if this group ever decides to cover songs in English, I could always try and help with lyrics~ I would love to receive feedback on my audition! Any constructive criticism is wanted, since I know I have a lot to improve on. I would like to apologize for any random sounds (I think I only found 2 or 3) in my audition. I would normally edit them out, but they overlapped with my singing. Thank you~!!
[Feedback] Alrighty, first, your singing voice is very pleasant to listen to! It's light and happy, and is alto but a high alto thus making a perfect voice for a smile first year! Really the only thing I could say you can improve on is hitting those high notes better. This can be easily improved on by simple vocal warmups before you sing! Another thing is the quality of the sound, though it's still decent quality so it could probably be fixed in Audacity. So just practice those high notes and be sure to warm up before you sing! Other than that, this was a very good audition, so thanks for auditioning for Love Live! Cover Project! and keep up the good work!
Aaahhh~!! Thanks so much for all the positive feedback! Fun Fact: I did use Audacity for this audition, but I've only had it for a couple of days, so I'm still figuring out how to use it! Thank you again for all the wonderful feedback! I think I'll also be audition for the Smile Second Year, and maybe the Cool First Year since that will fit my range better. I'm just trying to improve my high notes. :) Thank you again!
