Sakura is the main character of the series and movie. At the time of the movie's beginning, she has collected most of the Clow Cards and just got the Arrow card captured. She has a decent friendship between Tomoyo, Meiling, her somewhat-rival (at the time of the events of the film) Syaoran, and Kero (the guardian of the Clow Cards).
The Japanese voice for Sakura has a unique catchphrase when she gets shocked or scared: "Hoe!" ("ほえ！" "hoe!")
Her optimistic and outgoing attitude, combined with her invincibility spell ("Everything will surely be alright.") has carried her to go through obstacles to collect the cards and is very friendly towards those around her, including her friends and family.
