Hey Aaron - thank you so much for your notes. I would HIGHLY suggest being more natural on your slates - especially if your first character is going to be in this fake high pitch register. It really takes away from the organicness of the character - it feels more like a voice than a real personality - so I would want to work on this more. I'd rather work with your real placement/voice as this first character doesn't feel connected so while you might make some great choices here, the character is off putting so choices might be missed. Believe it or not for this wonderful character that you've created, he's just holding back too much - he is in voice but not totally let go. Then the second character was similar. I liked him a bit better but again it feels like the performance is hiding behind the voice but loved your choices in this one - the gulp was awesome. I can tell that you are just so excited to play with all the quirks in your voice - i totally get it cause it has some AWESOME quirks to it. When you felt the most open and organic and let go - was at the end when he was like "I can't handle this". and makes all these sounds. they were open and expressive vs contained and held back so I hope to work with you privately as well so we can just work on character development. I LOVE the character in your voice - and you will land in all these characters soon - they just need a bit of a boost. Some good choices i here though
