From the episode “Squilliam Returns,” where Squilliam rubs his success in Squidward’s face and talks down to him for being inferior and for working a dead-end job in the fast food industry. “Oh, just succeeding in everything YOU failed in.” [when Squidward lies and says he works at a five-star restaurant, Squilliam feigns shock] “Squidward! I had no idea you were such a success. [smiles in a way that challenges Squidward, knowing Squidward at this time is merely bluffing] And I would be honored if you would allow me to come to YOUR restaurant... tonight! [after Squidward responds with shocked nervousness, Squilliam says this to his entourage.] In fact, we’ll all come! My treat!”

From that same episode, these lines mostly show Squilliam’s dazzled and humble side. Seeing the Krusty Krab converted into a five star restaurant and being treated as such gives Squilliam a nice slice of humble pie] [dazzled by the look and feel of the now five-star Krusty Krab] “Hommina, hommina, hommina, hommina, hommina...” [when confronted by Squidward, who’s waiting for Squilliam to acknowledge his success, Squilliam responds with this, nearly in tears] “Alright, I admit it. Everything. The food, the atmosphere! Everything’s flawless!” [reading off a note card Squidward provided, his voice kinda shaky] “Squidward Tentacles has the fanciest restaurant in Bikini Bottom... and he does not suck eggs.” [impressed by the five-star restaurant Squidward turned the Krusty Krab into] “What really won me over was your brilliant waiter. It’s as if all he knows is fine dining... and breathing. [to SpongeBob] I must know your name.” [as if he’s having a heart to heart with Squidward] “Squidward, I understand. I have a confession to make myself. I made everything up about my life. I have no yachts, jets, or anything. I was only trying to impress you. The horrible, sad truth is, I'm a cashier, too! [starts to cry while Mr. Krabs plays the world's smallest violin. Squidward asks if that’s true, and Squilliam immediately shifts away from being tearful and sad.] Of course not! I’m filthy stinkin’ rich! Come on everyone! Let’s go take a ride in my balloon slash casino.”

From the episode “Band Geeks”, in which Squilliam first debuts. These lines show more of his arrogance, his superiority towards Squidward, the rivalry he shares with him, and his sense of humor getting on Squidward’s nerves. “Sounds as though you’ve got a dying animal to attend to, eh, old chum?” “I hear you’re playing the cash register now.” [Squidward asks about Squilliam’s unibrow in a feeble attempt to be sarcastic to him] “It’s big and valuable. I’m a leader of a big fancy band right now. And we’re supposed to play the Bubble Bowl next week.” [rubbing his gig in Squidward’s face figuratively speaking] “That’s right. I’m living your dream, Squidward. The problem is, I’m busy next week and can’t make it. So I was hoping you and your band could cover for us.” [tauntingly] “I knew it. You don’t even have a band! Well, I’ll just let you get back to the service industry now.” “Good luck next Tuesday. I hope the audience brings a lot of... ibuprofen!”
