The Faeries Tale Pilot
Voydsent for Fem Sounding Voice Actor
Looking for a slightly deep, fem sounding voice for one of the main characters in the pilot episode of "The Faeries Tale"
"Mother" (aka June) is the caretaker of the town's orphanage, and the biggest faerie fanatic you’ll come across. She’s seen as a parental figure to all the children of the orphanage, however her motherly tone is more formal than it is emotional.
She spends countless hours reading upon and trying to replicate faerie magic, often confining in Pandora and using her willingness to help as a tool to bring her research further. She’s quite calm and friendly generally, but when deep into research she’s easily angered and can come across as cold and uncaring.
Mother sounds as though she has authority over anyone she speaks to, even when she’s caring and friendly, it’s clear that she’s not opposed to using that authority at any given moment.
No prior experience required, however we will not be accepting auditions with considerable amounts of echo, reverb, or background noise, in order to minimize audio editing.
