You will be in charge of writing the episodes for this series as I've already said each season will be a minimum of 12 Episodes but am open to there being more episodes but if you do need more I'd prefer it to have at least that many episodes each season

Each Episode will be $50 USD paid through paypal. When your cast we can talk more about timelines, whether you'd prefer to get paid all at once or you want half the episodes paid then the rest upon completion etc...

For your audition I'd like you to write a Season Synopsis So write what the overall season plot is then for each episode write a more expanded plot so the basics of what happens in each episode. It doesn't have to be perfect as this is an audition just so I get an idea of what your thinking for this series if/when you're cast we can expand upon your ideas more then.

For now here are several things to take into account, fans who have actually read the books will know most of these but for those who have not here is a list that will help you to stay true to the canon.

1. Episode 1 is the basic meet and greet episode so James, Remus, Sirius, Peter they all meet and they become friends.

2. Those who've read the books will already know this but James & Sirius meet in the same compartment as Lily and Severus, this scene will be straight up copied from the books to keep things consistent like every scene that we get to once it occurs in the series we will copy the scenes from the book.

3. This is not a Slice of Life Story, it is a Harry Potter Prequel so at it's core it is a Mystery, it's Fantasy and the setting is Hogwarts but it's a Mystery Fantasy. Think about it every Harry Potter book even Book 7 there was a Mystery. 

Book #1 What was in the package Hagrid took from Gringotts, what's below the trap door and who is after the stone?

Book #2 Who is the Heir and where is the Chamber of Secrets?

Book #3 Why is Sirius after Harry, and how does he keep getting so close yet keep failing?

Book #4 Who put Harry's name in the Goblet and Why?

Book #5 What is behind the door in the Ministry of Magic?

Book #6 Who is the Half-Blood Prince, & How do we defeat Voldemort?

Book #7 Where are the last Horcruxes, What are the Deathly Hallows, and How do we defeat Voldemort once and for all?

The last one of book 7 is kinda already known it's just the way the go about it etc...

So yeah each book has 1 or several questions and the gang follow clues to discover the truth and the truth is usually shocking and sometimes horrifying.

4. We're going into less canon fact and more deviating to original content here but here we go The Main Antagonist of Season 1 is The Red Man he's only known as the Red Man and he's one of Voldemort's most faithful followers he probably went to Hogwarts with Voldemort and even knows his real name, the Red Man or Red as he's simply known has been given a task by Voldemort, to bring fellow Hogwarts students to the cause and to get their help in finding a certain artefact hidden in Hogwarts kept safe, so Red sets up shop just outside of Hogsmeade in Aranshire but uses the surrounding area as a base he creates a Secret Society and uses the Hidden Passages around Hogwarts so that even First years can join as  only 3rd Years can leave Hogwarts grounds and only with a permission slip.

Only those who prove their loyalty are invited to the Secret HQ in Aranshire the rest are told to meet in the cave that Sirius will one day use as a hideout during the Tri-Wizard tournament for (in the Harry Potter books) the Mystery for season 1 will lead the Marauders to discover about the Secret Society and stealth their way into their ranks and learn what Red is after and race to get it first as to them they don't realize how dangerous Red is they just see this as a cool first year adventure. They will only just hold their own but in the end be defeated but Dumbledore will arrive save the day and everyone that Red used the Imperius Curse on to control because of their wavering loyalty will be freed.

5. Certain characters that were a few years above or already graduated will be in this series just to give us a sense of familiarity such as Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Black, (will marry into the Lestrange Family, speaking of which) and Rodolphus Lestrange who are in their third year. Then you have Andromeda and Narcissa Black (Andromeda will Marry a Half-Blood Teddy Tonks Sr. and Narcissa will Marry Lucius Malfoy) they are both in James, Sirus etc... year.

6. I have a list of all Defence Against the Dark Arts Teachers given that there will need to be a new one every year and it'll be 7 seasons. I'll give you season 1 DATDA Professor Year #1: Professor Elspeth Grey – Transferred back to Ministry of Magic – Auror of the Ministry signed up as a favor to Dumbledore

7. Make sure you keep Lily & Severus' bond strong no matter what Severus does she'll always find a way to forgive him until their 5th year when Snape calls her a Mudblood.

8. Peter Pettigrew never betrays the Marauders until after he joins Voldemort but you won't need to worry about that as that's post Hogwarts

9. I say there are 12 Episodes per season but really there can be 12, 18, 20, or 24 pick one of those numbers but be careful as each episode are 20-40 minutes each and every season must contain the same number of episodes

There may be more information once your cast I'll let you know, as for now that's all the main/important info you need for the audition piece everything else I already know is only important for later Seasons so shouldn't worry about it now.
