Thank you for your submission! You seem to have a nice character range as I found it by looking through your past submissions; An inbetween version of the very deep one (Dr Zark Yobi) and a brighter / younger (?) character (Roy) HOWEVER It's clear you read 0 of anything I wrote xD I did get the gist of everything though, but do feel free to redo the submission as you may have missed more points to score with, for starters, if I didn't check your other submissions, I wouldn't have found out about these other 2 voices __ One more thing, about the character wish: You are wishing for 4 whole character designs here so, I would do the following: One base character; perhaps filters on top (the darker skin and stuff), on and off switchable decorations (the cherry branches etc.) PS: proving your passion (not abandoning the model after getting tired of doing streaming/etc.) by attaching links to the respective platforms is a huge plus! If you didn't do that till now, there's over 20 more days left for this audition if you know what am I getting at~
I see, thank you for the input. I'm not exactly sure what points I missed but I know what you mean by proving my passion. I have a full-time job and making time for streaming is an impossibility until I stop working 12-hour shifts. Which might only happen within 2 months I'm afraid I so have a YouTube account where I want to start, but I have not made a video or streamed before. I plan on using my limited free time to continue practicing voice acting and performing to be able to play my character. I understand that asking for all four models is a bit much and it's also pretty technical. I will be satisfied with just one and whatever else you might want to add, the darker skin and switchable decorations sound like a good idea. I hope that covered most of it, let me know if I should redo the audition in a more focused way
Ah I see, it can't be helped then - and if one model with the named features is fine, then it's all good (also, VTube Studio recently introduced a feature of having some sort of special effect when switching models - manually adding something like that would work, OR exporting duplicates of the same model with the different decorations (and removing the ones not needed for the certain model obviously) may work as well) -- As for what you missed when reading: The 3 parts; Why do you want a character model? (streaming likely?), name skills you have you think would help (voice acting, aspiring singer, gaming in your case) AND the character description, were supposed to be added in form of text -- regardless, I'll likely extend the time of the project since I find ~20 days a little low, but it probably won't be until the 2 months so here's a deal that may interest you: 1) resubmit the audition as it was expected (no need to rush it, take your time & still having no 4th voice idea by then is no dealbreaker) 2) if you still don't get chosen in the end, I'm willing to provide 4 simple drawings of the seasons as you imagine them to start PNG-tubing - if you fulfill certain goals I will name now, you'll get a live2D rigged model (the reason for this is; for named reasons I cannot be 100% sure you will really keep doing it, but my instincts tell me you have potential + the enthusiasm to go all out; so the deal is basically my insurance in case #2 is wrong) -- THE CONDITIONS: (without time limit) 1) stream twice a week with each 2 hours ON AVERAGE (missing a week is no dealbreaker obviously) 2) have 3 recurring viewers (that are not friends you had before; I obviously cannot confirm that but I do hope for honesty in that regard) 3) have 2 - 5 viewers on average 4) archive the named things without relying on attempts to build parasocial relationships (in a romantic leading them on way where you say stuff like "I'm single", flirt constantly; that stuff - idc about normal friendship) -- if these conditions are acceptable to you, feel free to add me on discord: chiaisjustchia#3389 -- there I can send you the sketches; you can judge them, you can send udpates about the plans to stream and tell me when you think you reached that goal, that stuff -- also good luck, I hope these hellish 12h shifts are going to be over for you soon, sounds rough!
