really pleasant voice to listen to, and i could tell you were trying to vary up inflection to give the read more pizzazz. the articulation was super clear, but i think there's room to be a bit more energetic about the benefits you're trying to "sell" (ex. meeting employers, dance party, etc). it's hard to want to break the "smooth sounding voice" at risk of sounding TOO energetic, but i'm excited to see your range and what other emotions you can put into the read!
Such friendly voice. Did a great job of articulating and passing along info. I liked the laugh, but didn't know if it made sense within this read...shows willingness to hit conversational and take some risks however. Melissa had strong, positive energy throughout, but I would have loved a bit more dynamic energy in her read to elicit a more "pumped up" feeling. Well done.
Great notes - I agree. You were natural for the most part which is great, and I loved when you did the little giggle - nice choice there. We could definitely afford to amp up the energy a bit here for sure to make it more enticing but have a variety of energies is a great balance and you kind of did that when you did the giggle. So just playing with a variety of dynamics is a big key element to lifting things off the page. You can be whispering and still be enticing so it's just a matter of playing with different choices and emotions - depending on how the script guides us. You hear your reads correctly so that's an EXCELLENT start. Good first attempt. Look forward to hearing your growth.
