Quinn grew up in Colorado but her family comes from Ireland in fact she has family all over the place even a few cousins that live in Australia.

Quinn didn't have much of a childhood due to a disease that kept her from exercising even a short run would take the wind out of her, so she stayed in bed most of the time.

At one point they thought they had beaten the disease but it came back with a vengeance and she only has a year to live so instead of being plugged into a hospital bed she decided to go to University and feel alive for once, and she was even selected to go on the trip with her other classmates to La Huerta her parents were against it, but she persisted.

She met Rex when the plane was flying through a dangerous storm and was grateful to him for making her feel safe, she also can't help falling in love with him and feels guilty about not telling him that she's living on borrowed time.
