Otto is a reserved man with a kind heart. He is medicating to stop his I.E.D. (Intermittent Explosive Disorder) however in the show he is forced off his medication by Norman due to overwork. In a bout with Spider-Man fueled by an I.E.D. episode his neural chip is fused to his spine and chemically alters his brain permanently altering his personality.
