Jurien was once a knight serving the royal family. However, she and Garlan were stripped of their titles over an accusation they had no proof of. While serving under the royal family, she and Garlan were some of the strongest knights.

Jurien is known for her serious attitude, and is a strong and capable woman. She does not need a man to bow down to, and would never do so in the first place. Jurien is independent and doesn't trust a stranger or someone she just met with her own safety. She feels much more comfortable entrusting her life to someone like Garlan, who she has known for the longest time. Garlan is also her love interest, and she teases him from time to time when they start dating(only in Karma's route). Jurien believes that bravery is a form of kindness.
