Emelaigne is Rod's older sister, and is the daughter of Ophelia. She was a commoner just like the rest of her family, until they became royalty over night when Ophelia married King Genaro.

Emelaigne so sweet and nice that she wouldn't be able to hurt a fly. There is not an evil/negative bone inside of her. However, she is overly optimistic and friendly. This behavior is unbecoming of a Princess, which is why the nobles tend to look down on her or try to avoid her at all costs. She tends to hide everything behind a smile, and tries to be grateful for everything even if she isn't happy deep down. Before everyone forgot Lucette, Emelaigne did everything in her power to be nice to her step sister. She just wanted the two to be friends but it never worked out with Lucette's rotten attitude.
