A preferential voice actor will be able to replicate a wide range of emotion with the following traits:
Deep, intense, decisive tone.
Slow, thoughtful line pronunciation.
A supporting character for Elaine, and the only male character currently being cast, it is less important that Kyle be presented a particular way, but that his emotion and intensity are captured with realism.
“You seriously need to get out and breath some fresh air – not that recycled crap they keep venting into your little cubby. It’s got you saying some pretty funny things… (beat) besides, I know someone you’ve got to meet.”
“I think someone has a crush. It’ll be good for you! Impress her with that big brain of yours. You’ve never slipped up before, and you know what to do if you do end up taking a fall. Worst case scenario, you embarrass yourself and need to clear a few logs off a proxy or two.”
“Good going! I’m so proud of you, my little cyber cowgirl! Changing the game once again – fuck the impossible. Fifty points!”
Thank you so much for your audition! I appreciate your vigour in delivering the lines, and how well you punctuate. I feel as though the depth and intensity of the lines could be emphasized a bit more, but I believe that there is potential with direction!
