Sozo is an ant explorer with what one might call an obsession for mushrooms. He has gone through many...experiments with them to understand their properties and teaches The Chosen Vessel to use them in order to brainwash almost anyone they wish. Due to his "obsession," Sozo often speaks very frantically, becoming paranoid and sometimes even having angry outbursts in the middle of talking.
