Westley is the clumsy assistant to Doc. While she is grumpy and bitter, he shows true excitement about the world around him. He wants desperately to learn what he can from her, but she is completely uninterested in teaching him. This leaves him frustrated and makes it harder for him to learn and move forward. 

Keep his inflection at a Mid to High tone: hopeful, passionate, but also tends to feel like he isn't being appreciated. He's trying to ignore the fact that he's unwanted. 

NOTE: The fixed price for this chapter is $10, but there will be future chapters in the future. So if you audition, please be open for additional paid work in the future at the rate of .30 cents an hour.

  • 1. "What about this one?" - Legitimately curious tone with a hint of excitement. 

  • 2. “I thought you said it was off.” - Quiet with soft terror. Something just happened that shouldn't have, and he feels the need to hide behind his clipboard. 

  • 3. "I could learn these things if she would just give me a chance. Book-learning isn't how I do things. I need to get my hands in there! I need to do and feel! She just doesn't understand." - Sad with a hint of desperation. He REALLY wants to be able to learn these skills, but he's being blocked by an outside force who is unwilling to help him.
