The sign in the window indicates that the killer did not want to use the door as a normal person would because he or she despises Ally. Reasons? I don't know. But I think they killed her because she did something bad to him or her back then. The bloodstains on the carpet indicate that the killer is happy with Ally's death and now wishes to hurt someone else.
