Tyler comes from a rich family who doesn't spend time with him or his sister Bee. In truth his parents left them a house to go party and waste their lives away, but Tyler hates the fact that they are not around to help raise his little sister that he cares so deeply about. Not wanting to use his parents' money he took a job at a grocery store to help bring food to the table and to have money to help pay for bills. 

He met Alayna and Enola in 9th grade and they have grown close to each other. Tyler considers Alayna and Enola as family and very close friends. 

Although he treats them as family, sometimes Alayna and Enola will boss him around and not let him think for himself,  always following them and not making choices for himself and his future.
