Shingo, the cruel and unsettling member of your friend group. Great at hand-to-hand combat and even better at monopolizing the player's time and attention, Shingo is played as a silly, over-the-top, violent comedic relief. But is that all he really is? Or is he hiding something more sinister from everyone?

• Shingo (pronounced shin-goh) is 19, with the most complex route available in the series. In any other route, he's seen as comically cruel with a sharp tongue. In his own route however, his cruelty is much more serious and escalates in intensity as it progresses. Shingo's route deals with more mature themes, and contains more gore than any other route available - it is required to be 18 or older to audition for his role. Please keep this in mind before auditioning. 
• While his route is the most complex, it's also very easy to be locked out of. Unlike other routes, you cannot switch to his route at any point during the game. It is ONLY available via the first choice made when deciding his route.
• His voice should be very expressive and flexible, with the ability to switch between gentle, to dark and monotone, to your standard "crazy/snapped". This role does not have a set voice pitch/range, allowing for any masculine-presenting voices to audition so long as they can meet that expressiveness. 
• Comparing his voice to an existing English CV in terms of expressiveness, a close example would be Bryce Papenbrook, Johnny Yong Bosch, or Justin Briner. Having a good growl or an unsettling tone for lines within his route is a bonus.
