Lord of Traitors is an ironically named high-ranking member of a monster-hunting religious group known as the 'Sarenites'. A role outlined in their holy text, the Lord of Traitors is burdened and blessed with an attachment to the absolute truth- he cannot lie, nor does he wish to. His unshakable faith in others is shown in his chosen attire, passed down from each Lord to the next. He is the bastion of mortality; undeniable proof that humans deserve to persevere.

- The Lord of Traitors speaks in absolute truths- his understanding of the world is logical, untainted by the Unreal. Living a confined life of religious study, his knowledge of subjects varies wildly from reciting entire pages of scripture by memory to never having encountered watermelon before. Social cues evade him and sarcasm confuses him. Although the comparison angers me now, referencing the english voice of DBS Broly may help for the general tone, albeit not primitive or slow.

- His voice, in general, is raspy, soft and forward. He speaks with reason, seeking answers and questioning them to their logical conclusion. It is not quite monotone- moreso a muted, dull interpretation of the world; made colorful by others.

- While speaking to other mortals, he is kind. Always kind. He is not meant to understand people at first- whether they sin or lie or weep. His goal is to learn, to help however he can. Whether that amounts to something as small as a physical embrace or something as complex as destroying an Immortal, nothing is without reason.

- While communing with his peers, he is logical and eager to help- the world has problems, and it will take the efforts of many to solve them. Mortals, Liars and Sinners are equal here, pieces of a greater picture he does not yet see in full. He almost comes off as philosophical at times, and remarkably childish at others.

- While speaking to the threat, he is Decisive. All actions are intended to be the last- whether those are his or the enemy's. Blood boiling, heart pumping- the day is SEIZED! The Lord of Traitors has trained his whole life- body, mind and soul- for combatting what drives against the world. This is purpose! Divinity! All will be kind and just as a result of his actions. He is not just willing to die for this cause- he would be afraid not to, knowing how much he could change for the better.

  • (Speaking with other Mortals; quiet, monotone and kind. Always kind.)

"I am sorry. It is against scripture to be given titles aside from my position. This includes what you call 'nicknames'. Please address me as 'Lord of Traitors'.

    (As above, but read quickly.)

"This is the afterlife, possibly. I see no reason why physical ailments would persist through death. It is not unlikely you were an innocent victim of an unseen criminal. However, it is equally likely there is no method of escape from this place, and that we are still alive but contained securely within the confines of the void for some unknown purpose.

I prefer the idea that I am dead. It is less complicated that way."

  • (Speaking with peers- logical and precise. Wants to accomplish the best possible option.)

"I understand. You are afraid of what is necessary. Everyone has a right to that- fear, uncertainty and doubt. There should be no conflict here... but you are in the way, Cardinal."

“The Apostates have begun investigating other candidates. Whether to join their ranks or aid them in other ways is unknown. This is... uncommon... No... The Liar trusts no one but those who choose to believe him willingly. ‘Anomalous’ is more accurate.”

  • (In the heat of battle. Alive. Decisive and Rage! Give the Lord of Traitors *some* emotion here.)

    "Stop talking."

    "PIERCE."

    "BURN."

"Is existence is beyond you? Begone!"

"Surrender your illusion and be freed!"

    "I am made whole!"

"You have given me purpose, Zechiel the Challenger. Were we not destined to die so brightly, I would have liked to know you."

(Using a Last Resort- a stimulant with an 80% chance of killing him within days)

"To fear the unknown is to be less than it- *glug*-  and I shall fear nothing."
