The melody is the high piano part, but you don't have to sing that high. I tried to compose a for all vocal types. Feel free to sing in the 3rd octave if you have a lower vocal type.
The pre-chorus should be sung in head voice; however, if you want to try belting, I would be okay with that.

Yeah, you don’t sound British while singing. The soft airy tone was an interesting choice. Very light. Thanks for auditioning.
Of course and yeah...I don't. It's kinda weird but I guess it's because my voice changes a lot. And thanks. I guess it was kinda just how I felt the lyrics would work. The song was very lovely and I enjoyed it.
