The captain of the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy lives for the adventure and excitement that comes with sailing the seas with the goal of becoming King of the Pirates. After he ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit, his body is now the constancy of rubber, allowing him to adopt a rather unorthodox fighting style revolving around his new found powers.
Notes:
1. Men and Women can audition for this role. If you think you can do a good impression of Luffy, regardless of gender, go ahead and audition.
2.When Luffy is in Gear 4th (a new transformation for Luffy), he sounds more exasperated and it takes him more effort to say any dialogue. Keep this in mind when you see any lines in pointed brackets with Gear 4th written between them.
