(10-11-years-old, female) Audrey is a mini-socialite of sorts, obsessed with everything she sees as "elite". When around her friends, she's gonna speak in a bit of a "valley-girl" voice (think...Paris Hilton..?), and when she's pretending to be fancy. But when she's upset, her real voice comes out, and she'll sound sad, soft, and sweet. Eventually, she'll grow out of this, and mature into a nice girl with a regular voice. For this role, please don't sound too old (she's a kid after all) and just sound like a convincing 11-year-old, please!
[whiny and bratty] "You just don't GET IT! My hair has to be perfect! You only get one first impression in school and I don't wanna waste it." (Aaleyah: Shut up Audrey. Your hair looks fine) "Easy for you to say, you don't caaaare about how ugly you look."
[upset, close to crying, angry, frustrated] "They used me. They used me for everything I had...and I let them! It's not fair...I just wanna have good friends...is that so much to ask for?"
[You're sharing your gratitude at Thanksgiving dinner] (soft and nice) "Hmmm...okay...I got it! I'm thankful for...family. And having a roof over my head and a bellyful of food every day. Oh! And my phone. I'm very thankful for my phone."
