Creepy, Strange, and possibly suffering from the effects of prolonged drug use, Ray is that one weirdo of the neighborhood found creeping in the shadows. He talks in a monotone voice, wears fancy/smelly clothes, and walks around town taking pictures. Most people are creeped out by him and dislike him, but Ray doesn't know this, as he doesn't understand most social cues. He will spend most of his days hiding in the basement of his house with his many pictures(doing god knows what), or taking photos in or around town.
I used to live in that house when Dad got mad. It was relaxing. Sometimes, if you listened closely, you could hear the footsteps of the people who used to live there. Slow and steady, like a hearbeat. Sometimes, when the rain it the window at the right angle, you could feel as if the house was living again. Mother at the stove with a warm pie, father in his chair with a pipe. Just like a magazine cover.
I capture beauty where I see it. That way, when I'm gone, people can see what I see. See a world before theirs. Only because I wish someone would have done the same for me 200 years prior. Best to start now.
