Isshin is flambouyant, exuberant, and prone to being a spazz. He does have his serious moments however.
"You let your guard down, Ichigo! Now apologize to your mother for being late!" (You just dropkicked your son as he stepped in the door.)
"DYNAAAAAAAMIC! ENTRY!" (You just dropkicked your son while he's asleep.)
"Listen, you punk! We can’t treat them all here. What’s that? Tell that white haired bastard that Isshin is calling in a favor! What does he MEAN over capacity? I don’t care that he’s still sore over me marrying his fiancé! If he doesn’t get me some more beds, then that’ll just be four more people he couldn’t save on top of her!" (One of the few moments where Isshin is serious. You're trying to save lives while getting a dig in on your rival at the same time.)
