Viva for Lorelei Lyons/Mindmistress
Lorelei Lyons is the daughter of a wealthy tech engineer and is also mentally challenged. However a locket form her deceased brain scientist mother can grow her intelligence 12 times higher thus changing her into her alter ego Mindmistress though she has to change back after two weeks to avoid the locket’s deadly side effects. While Mindmistress can come up with complex strategies and advanced illusion causing gadgetry she lacks Lorelei’s compassion and emotional wisdom, therefore making both sides of the same person equally valuable.
This character says few lines in Danish but for this role fluency in the language is not required.
[Ringo has told the heroes the Smiling Man’s origin asks their help in stopping him but Mindmistress thinks it’s a mess that is the guardian’s responsibility.] “I should leave. I should let you wallow in the mistake you caused, sir... You have more than enough superhuman ‘heroes’ where one won’t matter.”
[The Smiling Man has subjected Mindmistress to Lorelei’s childhood fear monsters that has left her shaken. Dasien is surprised she’s afraid of them.] “Michelle, you’ve had a life time to overcome childhood fears. You have the perspective of a normal adult. I, on the other hand, live the life of a mentally challenged woman. I have her anxieties. Her fears.”
[Lorelei is pissed off at Lightbringer who has been moralizing towards Mindmistress and over-protective towards Lorelei.] “That’s it!! Y’know, I kinda liked you. You were th’closest thing to an actual hero in th’group… ‘till you got all high-and-mighty, ‘cidin’ only you know what’s right!”
