A Lowden’s Gap resident who has taken the position of overseer of the workers, Ergalt runs things in Lowden’s Gap on behalf of Knightston Industries. Dedicated to making his goals to the point of monomania, he is a ruthless taskmaster who sees his fellow townspeople as mindless cattle to be herded. It would appear that the stress of leadership has seemingly made him rather unstable; he tends to fly into a psychotic rage whenever he is even remotely questioned… which means that Gav is a particularly galling fly in the ointment for him.
