Mads for Allowyn Valbella ‘The Ear of Llana’
Allowyn, cousin to the Queen of Solanaceae and Speaker for the town of Keanor. She manages the eastern part of her country, including most of the southern border between the human and dwarven nations. She has the temperament to listen before acting, and goes out of her way to give her ear whenever she can to her community. She does react strongly when someone does not follow through with their word. More often than not though, she remains stoic, regal, and challenging to read. With a genuinely good heart, she strives to maintain the wellbeing of all within her region.
She speaks with a chest voice, always regal and patient in her manner and speech. She is often the type to wait for others to finish saying what they need to say and then give her seasoned response.
Her 15-year-old niece arrived from out of town with awful news of what is happening in her territory.
"My darling niece, please tell me what is amiss."
A collection of adventurers has saved some villagers in her region, and she's praising them. Though she has more concerns than just that village, and these adventurers have proved themselves capable of another quest.
"I must thank you for what you have done for my people. I will happily reward you with coin if that is what you wish for, but I have a proposition before you go."
This is partly a speech to her followers, but it is also an extremely rare expression of anger from her. I don't want the anger to overtake the lines, I would like to hear the anger fueling it, bubbling from underneath the lines.
"Their actions are all but a declaration of war. This damage to our people and our lands will not be tolerated."
