Discord was once the cruel, insolent, despotic and narcissistic Master of Chaos, but after reforming thanks of Fluttershy's kindness and friendship, he mellowed out and became kinder and more helpful, but still volatile, arrogant, manipulative and somewhat unpredictable. He tried to be a good friend and did some very good things, but still caused a lot of trouble due to his naturally chaotic nature,. His current personality is complicated; he can be nice and friendly, but can still be very sneaky, devious and manipulative. He appears to have become much more reclusive, solitary and sentimental, as a result of losing his magic and his best friend, Fluttershy, who he still misses very much. However, he is arrogant and somewhat vain, as he thinks very highly of himself and often boasts to the point of exaggerating. He also still enjoys parties and drama.

(Talking to Everyone with a judgy tone) "And you are Sunny, Hitch, Pipp, Izzy, and Zipp. There's nopony who comes to Canterlot without my knowing about it, and...usually there's no pony who comes..."
(Suddenly perks up) "But today's an exception. I'm so delighted you could all make it to my little soiree!"
(Soiree - Swah-ray)
(Canterlot - Can-ter-lot)(A little sassy) "I'm not playing fair? Perhaps we haven't met. I'm Discord, spirit of chaos and disharmony. Hello?"
"Being turned to stone doesn't keep me from hearing every word Celestia says. Although I admit it makes rolling my eyes a challenge."
