A fun, light hearted Brit in his late 20's to early 30's, that has just accepted a management position at his friend's work. After experiencing a few setbacks in his hometown, he left London and moved to Boston for a fresh start. Though he can’t seem to figure out why Louise doesn’t like him.

Looking for a male voice sounding late 20's to early 30's, with a nothern English accent.

  • Why is it a sneaker? You don’t use them to sneak around! They squeak more than anything. Trainers make more sense.

  • Fine. At least we have loo. Calling it a toilet is so fucking digusting.

  • Alright fine you want to get into this. How about your Americans saying apartment?

THank you for the comment on the line. I am not English in any way, so I'll keep that in mind for the script and try to find another line for that fits better. Thanks for the feedback.

As a brit, Loo and Toilet are somewhat interchangeable. Loo is just the slang, so I wouldn't be in a pub and say "I'm just going to the toilet" I'd say "Just gonna nip to the loo". But in a more polite setting, we might use "toilet". A better example would be "Crisps" and "Chips" American "Chips" are equivalent to french fries, whereas we call what Americans call "Chips", "Crisps". Hmu if you want other silly British/American wording disputes!

"But in a more polite setting, we might use "toilet". " That's just personal preference though and doesn't reflect anything, for example I would say toilet 100 times over than loo even in a casual setting lol

True, it isn’t the best example of Americanisms vs Englandisms 😅
