Dino has an aloof, serious, and nonchalant personality. He has an okay amount of leadership skills because he is able to lead his faction, but at the same time, he cannot fully control them. Dino is kind and understanding, but tends to be violent or aggressive towards his older brother Aldo.

Dino was labeled a rebel when he went into the "Aboveground" (which is pretty much the surface), breaking the rules the Spinner of Tales' had set for the people of the Underground City. The residents(even thugs) of the City consider him a threat to their society, despite his reasoning for breaking the rules. Deep down, all Dino want is to get rid of this unfair rule because he feels like it has robbed the residents of their freedom.
