Haley Snyder for Kaiya
Kaiya is a princess of Lysium, and an only child. She does not remember much from her childhood, and has mostly kept to herself. She has a soft and timid voice. The voice we are going for is someone who hides emotion behind their voice, that can portray a character that is experiencing a traumatic event for the first time in their life.
Scene 1 setting: Kaiya and Iden have just escaped the village and they walk into a building to find anyone to help them. As they walk in, they notice two men distracted in the corner of the room. With a hesitant feeling in the pit of her stomach, she decides to warn Iden of these men.
Scene 2 setting: Iden and Kaiya have just found letters in the basement of the building that could potentially provide more information as to why there are relics and gold hidden from this town.
Scene 3 setting: Kaiya has been overcome with overwhelm and emotion. She is nearly moved to tears and she is almost torn away from a member of the party. She is firm and torn a part with feelings of anger and sadness in her voice.
Kaiya:
1 “I’ve seen that armor before… it’s best to be cautious.”
2 “Why would they do this? *shaky angry voice*”
3“Dad..?”
4“I’m not leaving without you. No matter what.”
