Description: RJ’s half brother. He’s arrogant but if you asked him…well, he wouldn’t give you the time of day honestly. Ezekiel is the golden child but he always worked for what he wanted. He believes in carrying oneself with the utmost respect. Which is why he hates RJ or “the outsider” as he calls her. He thinks of her as weak and entitled - far from what his father, Century stood for.
[Scene: After a heated argument between RJ discussing her advocacy in and around D.C, Ezekiel counters…] [arrogant and condescending] “Nobody deserves anything in this life. You work for it. You take it, by any means.”
[overwhelmed. He’s been having nightmares about the incident. He’s tired, paranoid, and trying his best to keep his shit together] “I’m done taking orders from the product of a goddamn pity fuck. Police are breathing down our necks and we are sitting here handing ourselves on a shiny gold plated platter… We have to take her out. (beat) Don’t look at me like that. Blood is already on your hands. If we go down, you are right behind us.”
