Lockon is the squadron leader of the Gundam Meisters. As such he is required to keep a calm and level head which can often be difficult with his fellow pilots. He is a long range expert and skilled marksman, preferring to take out his targets from afar.
Scene: The other Gundam Meister’s are at each other’s throats. Lockon is caught between them and tries to diffuse the situation
Lockon: (Awkward Hesitant Laughter) Why don’t we all just call it a night here and head home… We have more work to do tomorrow.Lockon is upset at Setsuna for going off mission (again) and is trying to reign him in.
Lockon: Setsuna, we’ve talked about this! You can’t keep running off!
Lockon shifting blame onto Setsuna, to avoid the wrath of an angry Sumeragi
Lockon: Listen boss, I had to intervene. If I didn't, Setsuna would have been killed.
