Maya is the fun, chill, life-of-the-party friend that Aurora made while in school. While she was upset when Aurora moved away, she got over it a bit and carried on with her life, and stepped up to be Adelaide's friend in Aurora's absence, sacrificing her status and her popularity with the witches at Maple Ridge in order to keep Adelaide company.
