Mother of Charlie Matheson, Wife / Ex Wife to Charles Matheson. When we first meet Diane, she is a loving mother/ wife that is trying to enjoy a good time with her son on his birthday and husband (which they don’t get to do often.). 
 
The second time we meet Diane she is tormented by the loss of her son back on his 6th birthday.
