  • The worst thing to happen to me that day wasn’t going blind; it was inability to do what I loved doing, to do what gave my life meaning.

  • When I heard fading footsteps, I thought it was over. I thought I’ll just lay here till somebody sees me lying down and actually call for help.

  • But, then the footsteps were louder again. Next thing I know, I have bleach all over my face.
