Described as brash and direct but not disagreeably so - Leila is Jimmy's sister and has no idea what Brandon and Tom have done. She brings a breath of fresh air and fun to this party.
(disappointed) Oh, dear – ! Jimmy said you looked like Ronald Colman without a mustache.
BRANDON: Better driving. Leila, I hope this won’t inconvenience Jimmy too much. He was going to drive back with us.
LEILA: Forget it. (chuckles) Jimmy would rather crawl back to school than miss one day in the city. He has so much fun on these holidays.
LEILA: (jokingly) And I suppose there’s a dead man in there now – is that right?
